Kat Swank
Director, Writer, Actor
Kat Swank is a director, writer, actor and a 2020 graduate of Bucknell University. She majored in both Psychology and Theatre, and she believes a combination of those disciplines injects a unique insight into the works she writes and directs.
Currently, Kat is volunteering at the Norwalk Conservatory project managing Fundraising Events.
She discovered her passion as a stage director when she directed her first show, Standardized Testing the Musical, during her senior year of high school, and continued that passion throughout college. She found her love as a writer through a highly entertaining and thought-provoking creative writing class. She channeled that passion through stand up and improvisational comedy, short plays, and, more recently, by writing for Bucknell University's devised show, Unheard/Unspoken.
